Twenty two Lions members enjoyed a short music program at the Atkin cafe with Betty Martin who heads to Europe on a concert tour. Mrs Martin sang two numbers assisted by pianist Gwendolyn Smith. A Milford cleanup plan and radio reception fixes were discussed. Dr C R Parrish named Trail Twister to enforce club order and fines.

Outzens Baby Daughter Dies in Beaver Cemetery
Meurine Cutzen aged six months died after a three day illness of pneumonia. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the L D church. She is survived by her parents Mr and Mrs Wallace Cutzen and two brothers.

Freshman Assembly At Farmington High Delights Faculty
Miss Margaret Leonard visited Farmington Utah with family over the weekend. The Freshmen assembly on Friday March 8 featured numbers from the Freshmen chorus piano duet Ruth Pool and Katherine Meenford pianologue by Mrs Louise Campbell six Freshmen girls sang Sidewalks of New York Leah Thompson read a scene Ramier and Julio. The class surprised advisor Miss Jean Woodside at Miss Norma White's home with games and luncheon. Mr Stanley Johnson spent the weekend in Salt Lake attending farewell testimonial for daughter Dorothy Johnson bound for the Mexican Mission.

A Minersville High School public speaking department presented a four play one act program Saturday evening. The Haven and The Minister's Wife drew strong emotion from the audience while A Girl to Order and The Ghost Story showed promising talent. Miss Margret Cates directed the series with incidental music by the combined band and orchestra. The music department under Principal Coffman plans an operetta The Gypsy Rover on March 29 at Minersville and March 30 at Beaver.
