New features include demonstrations on theatrical character creation recording and testing valves conducting Commedia dell Arte a form of trophonising plays. Sheridan's The Rivals will be presented by varsity seniors April 1. Three banquets and numerous panel discussions accompany the contests. Certificates of merit and prizes will be awarded. Last year over 400 participants from 40 schools attended. Dr T Barber Pardoe in charge after recent study and teaching at Louisiana State University.

Mrs. Willard Nichols accompanied her son Willan and Waleren Blackburn to Salt Lake City last Friday where the boys took an examination to enter the government air corps. The boys will leave Salt Lake this weekend for Hamilton Flying Field, California.
