An active Lions club meeting at the U P dining room heard reports on road improvements. Mine tax bill protest drafted but not sent as sponsor withdrew the measure. Members urged support for highway upgrades between Milford and the Nevada line and county aid for local roads with a state patrol to be stationed in Milford. Farm Sale Keeps Creamery Separate From Property
Sixty four acres of Dr. C R Parrish's farm at his creamery were sold to Lester Williams for ten thousand dollars. The tract includes dairy cattle buildings and farm machinery but not the creamery, which Dodder Parrish will continue to operate. Kirk Realty Co. arranged the sale.
