Gold Medal Tourney Set for Next Week
Southern Utah basketball teams compete in the second annual Gold Medal Basketball Tournament in Milford high gym next Tuesday through Thursday March 8 10. Two Milford teams Cedar City entrants along with Minersville Beaver Fillmore and Escalante vie for four trophies and six individual honors to be awarded after play. The Milford Parent Teacher Association hosted its February program in the high school auditorium on Monday February 28. Student numbers were presented by both high school and grade students. Performances included a mixed quartet a song and dance routine a piano solo a reading and a final song. A movie about cancer titled One in a Thousand was shown after cookies and punch.
