Robert Sherwood of Milford, a veteran miner and Democrat, was appointed to the Beaver County Board of Commissioners representing the west end, replacing O F Hubbell who leaves Utah for Caliente Nevada. Sherwood will serve until year end, completing a four year term started by RK Ellingsworth in 1982.
J Sithenellers and Alex Hamilton attended a convention where Jefferson Meurer presided. They represented the Mit fond State bank at the smoke store Anakere conventit in KEE. The travelers stopped at Panesitch Lake for four days, enjoying time near their war home.

Last weekend in Idaho at Pocatello Milford delegates Mrs Ray Milla Mrs D McFarden Mrs Gene Pitchforth Mrs Merrill Edwards and Mrs Stanley Voorhwes joined the convention. The group returned home Sunday morning after participating in the event.

He urged temperance over revenue, outlined goals of abolishing bootlegger influence, raising private standards, and removing profit incentives to curb liquor traffic, calling for full community cooperation.
The News reports Standard Oil of California distributor Phil W Bradfield celebrated a seven pound baby boy born Sunday June 14 at his home. The first boy in the Bradfield family, he is reportedly elated, comparing the event to a high speed motor. Both mother and boy are doing fine.
