MIT develops silver stainless steel with corrosion resistance

Massachusetts Institute of Technology creates a stainless steel alloy containing one to two percent silver. Chromium and nickel make it corrosion resistant while the surface forms a silver chloride that resists water attack. Work To Begin Coming Tuesday On Fair Grounds

Construction on Milford fair grounds starts next Tuesday under WPA with J M Hughes in charge. Crews will build pens, stables, race track railings, and lay a water line to support the first county fair in western Beaver county set for September 7 to 9. The event will feature high class rodeo, a major race meet, and Milford’s biennial home coming attracting many former residents.
