Claude Horton was elected 1950 51 president of the Milford Lions Club at the regular meeting in the Recreation Hall of the Catholic church last Thursday. He will assume duties at the next regular meeting on Thursday June 8. Royal Club Float Wins Parade Prize at Forty Niner Event

Metal Producers Mill to restart near Milford Monday
The Metal Producers Mill, three miles west of Milford, will resume on two shifts starting Monday June Sth after repairs and upgrades. Ore from the OK Mine will feed the mill with open pit surface mining and underground mining by OK crews. About 20 mill workers and 26 mine employees will be employed. a test run precedes full production. Electric power will come from a new Telluride Power Company line.
