Two Fined On Liquor Charge In Minersville Trial

Veteran sustains injuries in fall in Milford
Jesse P. Stevenson, a Civil War veteran and familiar Milford figure, fell over a water pipe at his Naila home last Thursday. He suffered arm and rib injuries, was treated at Milford Hospital, and was seen around town again Saturday.

Ground broken Monday for the American Telegraph and Telephone Company station near Milford on the Milford Frisco road. Four teams and a dozen men work on excavations while temporary workshops rise. Fullmer Bros. of Salt Lake City hold the contract with Eugene Wagstaff in charge. The two story brick reinforced concrete building, 82 by 42 feet, will serve as a step up station for new lines. Labor will be mostly local, with a few skilled carpenters imported. completion is expected in about three months, machinery to be installed by November 1.
