Forest Station To Show Results Of Experiments

The sixth field day of the Great Basin branch of the Intermount Forest and Range Experiment station will be held August 7 and 8 at the station on the Manti national forest near Ephraim Utah. Ephraim Hosts Civic Group Meeting On Liquor Reform

The Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah gathered in Ephraim for a monthly session to consider liquor law changes granting counties and towns full retail beer licensing power while retaining wholesaling by the liquor control commission. Two-Day Lake Outing Planned By F and F Club

Scouts Enjoy Fine Outing At Big John's Flat

Sixteen Milford Boy Scouts and Scoutmaster John Yack returned from Big John's flat in the Beaver mountains after a week at camp. About 117 boys and 15 Scouters joined troops from Beaver county Millard district and Plute county amid daily rain and hail storms. Highlights included hikes to Puffers lake and Mt Belnap, nature study, a daily camp inspection, and three Milford Scouts acting as color guards.
