La Rue Blackburn and Mrs Myrtle Mills are recovering from a major operation and an appendectomy respectively last week.

CCC Camp Well Near Completion at Beach Site
The CCC Camp Well at the beach finished low depth drilling at 315 feet but encountered excellent water near the surface within 75 feet. H L Hall of Long Beach drove the well and reports 20 gallons per minute with 55 feet drawdown using a lower 30 feet casing. He leaves for Ferguson desert to start another grazing well contract.
