Dr. CG Parrish, authorized by the school board and aided by Mrs A Davis, began physical exams of Milford High and Junior High students. Seventy five enrollment were checked for nose throat blood pressure heart lungs nutrition and posture with notices to parents if defects are found. The milk program by the Lions may be assessed based on results.

Two men from Los Angeles, B. W. Colburn and A. B. Brown, were fined $50 each for intoxication after a disturbance at the Low Hotel in Beaver. C A Coppinger was arraigned before Justice Herbert Nichols and pled guilty to petit larceny. On County Attorney Abe Murdock’s recommendation the grand larceny charge was reduced. He disappeared with Mrs Hattie O Leary's property, was tracked to Las Vegas, caught, and brought back. He will serve the sentence in Beaver.
