Mr Abbott attends the Monthly Region Six Administration Conference held last Thursday with other officials to plan upcoming regional meets aimed at fostering better understanding among regional schools.
DRAFTED Bob Wright and Gerald Stoker, former Milford High School students, received their draft cards Jan. 3. They are to report Jan. 23 to Fort Douglas.
Six Milford High School players were dropped from the basketball squad after admitting to coach Neal that they failed to observe training rules. The exiles were key members, and the piece applauds Neal for enforcing discipline to keep the team ready for the Hinckley game this Friday with limited seating available for supporters.

A Department of Defense policy allowing draft eligible men to enlist in the Army or Air Force has been extended to March 31. Cedar City Army and Air Force Recruiting Station commander Sgt. Theodore J. Lopez says many awaiting induction will choose to enlist now. The extension covers those entering Army aviation and airborne operations and directs interested men to Cedar City recruiting station.
Mr and Mrs Parley Fisher have returned to St George to spend more time of fire temple Heres.
Beaver High School crushed Milford 52 to 18 in the league opener led by Paice with 15 points and Cox strong outside shooting. For Milford, Bradfield and Fisher each scored 5, Kinross and Rockwoldt added 4 apiece as the Tigers endured a rough night and Coach Neal looks to ignition from younger players.

Father Valine and Jerald Mc Dermott announce Milford High School dances to be held Saturday nights twice a month at St. Bridget's Recreation Hall. The first dance is January 12 with the High School orchestra performing. Profits go to the orchestra and the recreation fund.
Warren Johnson appointed to lead the 1952 March of Dimes effort in Milford and surrounding communities. Johnson, Milford High principal and Beaver County chair, unveils a county-wide plan with community chairs, coin drives, school folders, and a Birthday Ball to boost polio fund collection. The drive follows a recent local basket ball event that raised over $28 for the campaign.
Agricultural Planning Committee meetings in Beaver, Minersville and Milford urged eradicating puncture vine with 2.4-D sprays on streets, highways and grounds to stop seed spread. Minersville cites farm labor shortages due to drafting and asks for deferments. Milford supports spraying alfalfa for weevil and yearly cattle lice control with dipping vats in the county.
Mrs Lucy Elizabeth Holm died at 2 45 p m Wednesday in Milford Hospital from carcinoma. Born September 8 1893 in Tennessee she moved to Utah in 1895 and lived mainly in Milford. Survived by six sons two brothers and three sisters. funeral plans pending arrival of relatives.
Brigham Young University will host the nation’s most complete atomic energy show February 26 and 27 in the Joseph Smith ballroom. The exhibit is provided by the American Museum of Atomic Energy at Oak Ridge Tennessee and operated for the US Atomic Energy Commission. Tour chances include school groups and public symposia for teachers editors and students.
