Wrecked Challenger Delays Traffic On Line

A south Nevada rail crash occurred between eight and nine last Thursday when the eastbound Challenger struck a freight that had moved to a siding west of Moapa. The Challenger allegedly rode the freight car and drove into its caboose, injuring several crew and passengers including engineer Reyes and others, with hospital treatment required for some.

Funeral Held For Father Of M H Pool

Funeral services for William Henry Pool eighty of Salt Lake City were held Wednesday at Larkin Funeral Home. He died Saturday night in a Bingham hospital aged and born November first eighteen sixty seven in Richmond Utah. He moved to Salt Lake City as a young man and farmed then ran a mine in American Fork canyon before retiring. Surviving are his son in Milford and family. two sons in Salt Lake City. a daughter Maynard T and Noel E Pool of Salt Lake City. Mrs Willa P Addy of Bingham. two brothers Royal G Pool and Chauncey Pool. five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
