Waters Dies in Chicago Area at 72

Herman B. Waters prominent utility executive and chairman of Telluride Power Co and president of Big Springs Power Co Moroni died Friday in a Buffalo hospital after a kidney ailment. He graduated from Cornell in 1903 as an electrical engineer and spent time in Montana in water works.

Noted engineer and company leader dies during trip

Measurements of a long career describe a chief engineer and president who advanced from Telluride Power Idaho to Richfield, later serving as president and board chair. He engaged in university clubs, Masonic orders, and civic groups, with a life marked by education, marriage changes, and a fatal illness while traveling near Salt Lake City. Survivors include his widow Ruth, four brothers and sisters, and nine others. Funeral was held at the Masonic Temple in Salt Lake City.

Dove Season Opens Saturday September First
