Milford 10 year old Lindsay Waddingham swept all in his class at the district marble tournament in Cedar City and advanced to state Burney at Ogden where he placed fourth. He is the son of Mr and Mrs L B Waddingham and ranks well in studies at Milford Elementary. County round winners in Class A were Bud Carter and Jay Rollins. Class B saw Waddingham and Vance Marshall progress to Ogden.

Arrangements have been made by the Future Farmers of Suveri for Matagen CG L Firmage of the Firmage theatre to show the two reel film Horse Power in Action on Friday and Saturday April 30 and May 4 as an addition to the regular program. There will be no price increase. The film, produced by the Horse and Mule Association of America, shows horse hots and judging rings, pulling contests, field demonstrations of big hitches, and tips on feeding, shoeing, and harnessing. It portrays tearing weight drafters against dynamometers and aims to educate farmers, stockmen, and horse lovers.

Milford High to stage concert ahead of Cedar City festival

The Milford high school pirate department will present a concert in the auditorium Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock as a preliminary to the annual musi festival activities in Cedar City on May 1. A. H.
