Squirrels were targeted with mixed bait arriving from Pocatello Idaho and will be distributed via the local feed store this year. Last year the bait killed many squirrels per pound, making it a profitable investment. tests show 22 squirrels per acre on a 40 acre farm consume feed equivalent to 40 sheep.

Dan K. Conway 48 managing editor died from injuries after a Saturday night crash five miles south of St. George. Conway, born in Canada, had worked on Montana papers then Los Angeles publicity before St. George purchase. Simpson ill since arrival. former owner William H. Wallis helping. Conway is believed to leave a widow and two daughters in Great Falls Montana.

Former Garrison Lad Victim of Shot
Arthur Meecham 25 lies in Ely hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the liver from an accidental discharge by his 16 year old brother Phillip during a hunting trip near Ely. Phillip placed the rifle on safe and it fired when he raised it. Arthur hobbled three miles for help and remains hospitalized.

Beaver Team Wagon Accident Injures Four
Four Beaver people were injured Saturday afternoon when the team belonging to Thomas Watters ran away with a wagon on the main highway in north Beaver. Glen Willison suffered a compound fracture of the left arm and a sprained right arm, his mother Marie Willison sustained a injured nose and cuts, Mr. Watters had two broken ribs and cuts and bruises, and his son Lorin age 10 bore a deep forehead gash. S. G. Cole, though aged, was reported well after a mining visit Wednesday.
