A sacred Easter season service commemorating Christ death and resurrection will be held at Milford Seventh-day Adventist Church Saturday morning at 11 o clock. The sermon emphasizes salvation through Christ, faith, and eternal life, with Bible texts from the crucifixion accounts and John 28 28. The public is invited to attend.
Members of the Yellow Mountain Land and Irrigation Co. of Minersville gathered for a banquet and dance hosted by Gene Kirk to mark final payment on a $235,000 agricultural project from the Boston Land Co. Milford's 1955 Red Cross fund drive, with the lowest quota in years, failed to meet the appeal. Drive chairwoman Mrs Cora Jones and local charter chairman O C Koch issued a call for residents to mail contributions to Mrs Jones or give to district chairmen across ten districts including Alice Baxter, May Carter, Varna Tomsik, Ruby Ashworth, Ina Norjan, Velma Patterson, Nora Wright, Don Alger, Aston Nivison, and others.
The Milford Aich senior engs, advisor Jesse Long, and seven parents will participate in Senior Stuff Day. On April 22 the group will travel to Las Vegas Nevada to visit Nellis Air Force Base and Moorer Dam. They will tour points of interest on the Strip and enjoy a show at a Las Vegas hotel.
Section 2b of Milford traffic code declares that only a wholly or partially blind person may carry a White cane on city streets. The text implies penalties for non blindness use but the wording is garbled and unclear about enforcement.
The Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. McCulley was observed with an open house last Sunday afternoon. Hosts welcomed many friends and relatives at their dec orated home where floral decorations accompanied the serving table.

Milford High School girls invite their mothers to an all girl program in the auditorium at 1:30 pm next Thursday April 14. At the same time boys hold an interclass track meet for the public. Mothers will hear a talk, attend a fashion show Fashions Around the Clock, view sewing class work, and preview summer fashions followed by tea.
The Methodist Church Ladies hold their annual pre Easter bake sale at the Jefferson Market Grocery department Saturday at 11 a m.
Five Milford High students Monty Ashworth Rus sell Sly Earl Stonehocker Betty Ferguson and Patricia Wilegek plus Instructor Jesse E Long will spend three days in Salt Lake City as United Nations visitors representing Yugoslavia. They will visit the state hospital and Brigham Young University in Provo en route. The trip runs April 14 15 and 16.
Earl Stonehocker son of Mr and Mrs Earl Stonehocker will represent Milford High School in the Rotary Youth Conference in Salt Lake City April 17 18 and 19 His essay on American Democracy and How It Works was judged the outstanding entry Four seniors entered the competition He will stay with a Salt Lake Rotation host family and visit Gov Bracken Lees office Mayor Earl Glade and University of Utah campus during the Capitol City trip
The American Cancer Society Utah division schedules a Cancer Symptom Center at Diveton Headquarters Salt Lake City on April 20. Registration runs 1 to 4 PM on April 14. only registered applicants may be examined. A written referral from a doctor within the past year is required.
County Agent Grant Esplin announced the Garden Club meeting set for Monday April 11 is cancelled for lack of interest. The Beaver meeting will be held as scheduled, he said.
