Mrs Jefferson's Father Dies in Salt Lake
Mrs. Jefferson and her husband traveled to Salt Lake City after the death of her father Alfred Smurthwaite 64 of pneumonia. Born May 4 1867 in Manchester England he came to Salt Lake 45 years ago and worked in the seed business. He is survived by his widow Margaret Brown Smurthwaite seven children and twelve grandchildren including Alfred T Charles B Harry C Mary Sarah Margaret Heywood Grace Jefferson and Grace's relatives in Milford Holbrook Arizona and Salt Lake.
