Mrs McColl of Midlothian Celebrates 80th Birthday
Mrs John C McColl of Midlothian observed her 80th birthday on July 2 celebrating with family and friends. The Midlothian Woman's Club feted her with gifts and a large birthday cake while others hosted dinner parties and theater outings. A former Blue Island president, Red Cross chair, and long time club worker, she now knits lap robes for wounded veterans. She lives at 4233 W 147th St with her son Gordon Stuart.

Pfc Victor Kulpa on 35 day convalescent leave from USMC
