Oyster shell harbors tiny fish in closed treacherous shell
At a Royal Academy of Sciences meeting in Gortengen, M Keestner displayed a complete oyster containing a small bluish loach like fish. The creature was found after the oyster finally opened on the eighth day, with experts noting the shell tendons may have kept moving. The fish likely entered during life, later eaten by its host.
