Plague, Swedens Revolt, and British Notices Across Europe
A fragment from a late 18th century newspaper describes plague outbreaks in Poland and the Hague, quarantine measures, and ship contagion. It then reports on Sweden’s revolutionary events, Crown resistance, royal safety, and a manifesto. Nearby items note ambassadors, promotions, weddings, and a humorous etymology column.
