Changes in district captaincies for the Community Chest campaign were announced due to illness and travel. J W Bradner leads District 1, A L Liebig captains District 3, and UP Seales heads District 4 while J M Regan cannot be in town Friday.

Will Colvard purchased the Bruce Rooming house on Nineteenth street at a public auction held yesterday at 12 30 pm. The sale attracted a fairly large crowd and spirited bidding. the property contains eighteen rooms and the new owner plans minor repairs and to operate it as a rooming house for a while.
