Funeral for Slain Youth Arthur Glap Man in Appalachia
Funeral services for Arthur Glap man, slain at Loyal Saturday night, were held at the M E Church South in Appalachia at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon with Rev Brigg officiating. A large crowd attended. about 100 automobiles formed the procession. Interment followed at a cemetery in Big Stone Gap. Hickman, employer at Loyal, and a few friends accompanied the body. The slayer of the youth had not been arrested by the last reports. The deceased was a nephew of Mrs J A Biggerstall of this city.

Doctors say the growth, Sacroccocygeal Spina bifida, is unusual but the infant is alive, healthy, and normal in other respects. Parents Mr and Mrs Dowerton are reportedly fond of the child and the physician notes the anomaly is not affecting the baby’s health.
