Whitley County edged Middlesboro 32 in their sole meeting this season and had only lost to Bush before Corbin beat them last week.
Lexington Kentucky Bob McCowan a 6 foot 2 All America from Dayton Ohio New High School became the third basketball player within the week to sign a grant in aid with the University of Kentucky. Last season McCowan averaged 23.6 points and three rebounds per game for a 84 record. Earlier this week UK signed two Indiana scragers Steve Schmitt and Larry Steote.
