The Music Club met yesterday at the home of Mrs Ed Hoe with Mrs d TL Alderson as stant hostess. Lucy dane Chidwick led discussions on state federation plans and upcoming meetings. Mary slemp presented a program about Chopin and his position in music circles.

Misa Stemp explored Liszt's influence on musical style in a lecture recital. She demonstrated the close link between Liszt and Chopin by performing the E Major Etude and four Liszt consolidation pieces. Refreshments followed for members and three guests. Burlek on West Carlisle finds peculiar eggs in shells
Burlek reports discovery of a hen egg of the west shell variety in a west Carlisle location. The egg measures one half inch in diameter and the egg is 16 inches long and two inches wide at the small end, described as puny by the finder.
