Tar Heel star Phil Ford, nursing an elbow and recovering from ankle surgery, will start as UNC faces Kentucky in the NCAA East Regional. Ford weighed options after Olympic play and hit four clutch free throws in a 79-77 win over Notre Dame, scoring 29 as UNC seeks the regional title.
