Clay County Corbin Win in Regional Play

Clay County defeated Brodhead 96 to 78 while Sid Corbin led Barbourville 78 to 58 in regional play Tuesday night. Bell County and Lone Jack make regional debuts as round two semifinals set for Thursday evening with games at seven and the winners advancing to Friday semifinals and Saturday finals. Clay County opened strong leading 08 at the first period. Chadwell 31 Oakley Bundy 40 and Larry Van Hook 46 paced the winners in a high scoring affair.

Stallworth Undergoing Heart Tests for Knicks Career

NBA Owners to Study Player Boycott Threat

URICAGO UPI National Basketball Association owners will meet Thursday to discuss a boycott of the playoffs unless a pension plan is established.
