NORRISTOWN PA UP I five electrical company executives serving 30 day prison terms for price fixing were expected to gain early release this week after two officials from Westinghouse and Cutler Hammer were freed for exemplary behavior. Four others could win freedom Friday under a petition to Chief Judge J Cullen Ganey of the U S District Court at Philadelphia. The seven were the prime movers in a vast conspiracy to bilk private and government agencies by fixing prices and submitting rigged bids in the government’s biggest anti trust case. Ganey sentenced 41 individuals and 23 firms last month. the seven were the only ones given prison terms and also faced nearly $2 million in fines.
