Lion Found Tied in Staten Island Yard Captured
Police on Staten Island tranquilized a nine month old male lion that had been chained in a vacant yard. Officers fed it dog food while awaiting a zoo official, then loaded the animal into a police van and took it to the zoo. Residents said the lion came from Florida as a cub.
