Two Mile Junk Yard Fog Crash Clobbers Riverside Freeway
A dawn fog blanketed the Riverside Freeway as nearly 200 vehicles collided in a two mile stretch. Thirteen people were hospitalized, many drivers fled the scene, and five pileups formed. Wreckers removed 90 cars and 33 trucks, with dozens more limping away. No fatalities reported.
