Laurel Williams known as Tex, longtime Corrigan family matriarch, died Wednesday of pneumonia. Born on a cotton plantation before the Civil War, she would have celebrated her 10th birthday in October. Her mother lived to 103 and a sister to 104. Burial is set for Saturday.
