Job Corps Center Accepting Trainees in Kentucky
Morganfield Kentucky United Press International Breckinridge Job Corps Center director James Fornear says about 80 or 90 trainees are arriving as the center rebuilds its staff. Officials believe a previously planned cutback may have been canceled though no formal notice was received. Prior to a June 30 congressional action, the corpsmen at the center were ordered reduced from 2000 to 1250.

In Mindanao, Sozo Miki identified his long-missing twin brother Ryoji Miki, a former Imperial Navy seaman listed as dead after World War II, as alive after a 28 year search. Ryoji reportedly married a Filipino woman and wished to remain in Mindanao. The embassy confirmed the finding and said the family planned a reunion.
