CBS won the 1964 to 1985 NFL television rights in a sealed bid, paying 28.2 million dollars. ABC bid 26.1 million and NBC 21.7 million, with CBS’ bid far surpassing last season’s payments. Baseball officials note the deal will raise World Series prices when renewed.
