Santa letters arrive from children expressing wishful requests for presents and warmth this season. Themis Spurrier was arrested on a warrant and pleaded guilty in court. Magistrate Pat Pursor fined him $25.30. Charges against Marvin Brooks and an unnamed defendant were dismissed in the Po Court.

He is survived by an uncle and several aunts in West Virginia and Detroit Michigan. Funeral services are set for 2 pm Thursday at Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev A B Reeves officiating.
