Obituary for John Terry Welch of Speedwell
John Terry Welch of Speedwell Route 2 died in a Middlesboro hospital August 16 at age about six. Born in Speedwell he was son of the late J F and Mary E Moyers Welch. He married Lester Ellen Patton on February 5, 1933 and was a farmer in Graiborne County and a Red Hill Baptist Church member. Survived by wife, sons Arlie Welch of Arthur Tennessee George W Touls G and Kyle Cotper Welch of Speedwell. daughters Ms Rufus Cupp of Tazewell and Mrs Katherine Grace of Speedwell. brothers Bil and Charley Welch. sisters Mrs Lettle Wilcox Monroe Michigan Mrs Evelyn Fortier Speedwell and Mrs Blanche Frans Wyandotte Michigan. 25 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at Yoakum Chapel with Revs Leonard White and Ralph Duncan officiating. Burial in Yoakum Cemetery. Flower bearers were family friends. pallbearers Lawrence Welch Frank Welch Max Moyers Henry Welch Alford Moyers and Glenn Ausmus. Funeral Home was Cawood.
