Obituary for Jay Dee Dixon in Pearl Kentucky
Jay Dee Dixon 20 died suddenly at home in Poort Tuesday at noon. Born in Bell County, Kentucky, he was the son of Mr and Mrs John Dixon. He married Sophia Partin in 1952 and had lived in Pearl all his life. Employed by Homer Brown Coal Company at Manchester, Ky, he is survived by his wife, five sons Rickie and 27 R Dixon, one daughter Elizabeth Ann Dixon, his parents, brothers Jack Clyde Paul Claude Dixon, sisters Mrs Fred Powers Mrs Elmer Reeve Beulah and Barbara Ann Dixon and Mrs Julia Wurst of Frakes. Funeral services scheduled for tomorrow at 1?3 am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Revs Chester Powers and Poster Wilson. Burial at Blue Mellow Cemetery at Pearl. Home in charge.

He led civic clubs, supported the Cumberland Gap park project, and advised state development. survived by wife Margaret Wins ton Campbell and three sons, with funeral plans at First Baptist Middlesboro.
