Father And Baby Killed In Wreck In Goulds
A 31 year old father Ve Robinson and his four month old daughter Anna Lau Tra were killed in a two car collision on a Monday in Goulds. Williams 26, a white commercial fisherman of 2855 SW 37th Ct, was driving the other car and two passengers in Robinsons vehicle Safronia and Matthew 4 were treated for minor injuries. All injured were treated at Dade County Hospital. Williams told patrolmen he did not see the other car until within 15 feet.

West Palm Beach Civil Rights Appeal Filed by Group
A group of Black residents led by Dr W H Collie appeals a federal ruling against them in a civil rights suit accusing the city of West Palm Beach of denying equal recreational and occupational opportunities and city services including garbage collection. 14 Year Old Girl Admits Killing 6 Babies in Ga Farm
In XDANIELSVILLE Georgia a 14 year old girl named Ezzie Daniels confessed to killing six babies in two years. Authorities say three victims were her siblings and the other three were children of her sister. The oldest baby was 14 months old and others ranged from six to eight weeks old. The girl reportedly said she killed the infants because she tired of caring for them while family members worked in the fields.

Christian Hospital Elects Officers in Board Changes

Prison sentences handed to three defendants
Mary Harper, 27, Perrine, received a one year term for the April 22 stabbing of Jesse Burroughs. Goodman, 29, drew five years for the August 19 armed robbery of Otis Molett at 237 NW 14th St. Willie Montgomery, 44, of 6320 NW 18th Ct., got two and a half years for shooting Fred Woodward on November 2, 1949. All were convicted of assault with intent to commit murder in the second degree.
