Bethune-Cookman holds 47th commencement in Daytona Beach

Bethune-Cookman college in Daytona Beach awarded 169 degrees at its 47th commencement led by Dr. Arthur L. James who spoke on Education Its Purposes. The event celebrated Dr. Mary McLeod Bethunes legacy and the college’s early years. Three drownings linked to rock pits reported nearby, with two incidents in Broward and one near Richmond Heights.
