Small Miami court docket yields 94 trials Monday
In Judge L E Thomas Municipal Court the 94 cases listed Monday morning marked the smallest docket since Saturday sessions ended. Highlights included Nathaniel Ferguson and Henry Lindy charged with disorderly conduct after a noon alley fight. Curtis Wilson charged with assault with a gun on his wife Elouise, with both offenses resulting in fines or brief jail terms. Other defendants faced checks, concealed weapon, and assault charges with various penalties. Judge Thomas ordered suspensions and continuations as facts supported. Rev W R Fairley known as Mr Goodwill visited Miami, spoke at St John Baptist Church, and announced Christmas bas kets for needy children in Washington.
