Membership has grown from 400 to over 1325 in three years, led by Frank Kent. Dues range from 1 to 100 dollars with life membership at 100. Breath Of Life Campaign Opens Door To Help Children
Campaigning begins September 22 for the Breath of Life drive to fight cystic fibrosis and other lung diseases. About 200 volunteers from Mexicaans groups church youth and a 4 H club will canvass neighborhoods aided by adult marchers. Donations fund C F Centers with patient care education and counseling across the country. Cystic fibrosis affects about 1 500 newborns per year and tens of millions carry the gene.
