Tim Hagan is the new president of the Audrain County Cerebral Palsy Society replacing Mitchel Skorupa who was transferred to St. Louis. The board noted $1000 gifts from J. B. Arthur and £m from Beta Sigma Phi sorority and named Mrs. Richard Wohlers and Mrs. Marvin Fisher to the board. Terri Sachs becomes the CP School speech therapist and volunteers are urged to help at the CP School with contact via Mrs. Jack LaFon.

SAN FRANCISCO AP The commander of an Army bomb disposal unit said there are no genuine experts in the field. Maj Carl R Hitchcock of the 548th Ordnance Detachment at the Presidio noted his unit handles bombs from pipes to nuclear devices and has trained thousands. He cited rising calls, 964 in 1969 and 1,163 already in 1970.
