Jury Rules LeCoque's Jail Death Was Self Hung
A coroner's jury ruled that Donald A. LeCoque died by his own actions in a Mexico city jail cell after his arrest on felonious assault weapons and public intoxication charges. Witnesses said LeCoque hanged himself with a belt in the jail basement Thursday evening after his wife reported threats with a shotgun and a possible prior mental health admission. The six member jury discussed closed circuit surveillance but offered no formal recommendations.
