Missouri Military Academy opened the 1974-75 school year with 75 new cadets arriving at the High School campus. An estimated 294 cadets attended in September 1973, up 30 percent from the prior year, with 200 projected but could vary by ten due to late arrivals and cancellations.

Frink 24 of Florissant cut an 18 inch section from a cell bar using a hacksaw and slipped through a hole in the north module cell.
