Iran Arms Sales Face Congressional Roadblocks in 1980s
Washington AP reports Ford's 5.9 billion arms package, mainly for Iran, faces Senate and House opposition over fears of an arms race in the Persian Gulf and Israel's security. Sen. Proxmire and Rep.
