The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs W E McConnell, wore white organza with pearl embroidery and a cathedral train. Groom is L J Dean of Mexico Route 2 son of Mr and Mrs L J Dean. Numerous relatives and friends attended. reception followed in the Fellowship Hall. After a honeymoon in the Ozarks, they will live in Warrensburg while both are juniors at Central Missouri State College.

Two New Members For VFW Auxiliary
Two new members, Mrs. Ed win Campbell Jr. and Mrs. Virginia McCord, were initiated at the Tuesday meeting of the VFW Auxiliary at the VFW Home. Mrs. Martin Cahall presided as committees reported on the Fulton district meeting, a rummage sale set for Sept 18, and a petition for better treatment of war prisoners was urged. Mrs. Margaret Story announced a November bazaar and led the money making project.
