Immigrant custodian Hugh Donnelly honored by history society
Audrain County Historical Society recognizes Hugh Donnelly the fourth immigrant honored. Born in Ireland he settled in Audrain County with family, married Mary Shea, and raised 15 children. He served 39 years as custodian at old Central School and later at McMillan High School, praised for his influence on students.
