A largely white Protestant denomination adopts a 10 point plan to integrate Black perspectives. It funds black ministerial leadership, develops teaching materials and hymns, recruits Black students for ministry, and expands education for Black ministers. The program seeks a $1 million endowment boost for Jarvis Christian College and includes salary upgrades for Black ministers, a minority ministerial support fund, and eight new Black congregations.

More than 200 men are expected in Mexico for the annual fall Columbia-Mexico District Men's Rally Monday evening.
