Art Simmons Clicks With Horses At Royal Show
The Simmonses run one of Missouri’s largest show stables with about 60 horses. Art Simmons, 61, trains and shows American Saddlebreds for wealthy owners and his own stock, earning the title 1971 Horseman of the Year from the American Horse Show Association. He brings 20 or 22 horses to the Royal, with training starting at birth and daily routines that blend grooming, conditioning, and handling to produce championship talents.
