Wellsville Fall Clean-up Set By City Council
The Wellsville City Council set the annual fall clean-up with collection on Oct 22 and 29 for items not handled by regular pickups. Extra runs will occur Oct 25 for Monday and Thursday garbage and Oct 29 for Tuesday and Friday services. A public hearing on the planning book is Oct 23 with study materials at the city office and public library.

In Wellsville elementary school two first grades performed a day of Mother Goose rhymes with Mrs. Charles Swarthout directing piano, aided by teachers Mrs. Homer Arendall and Mrs. Russell Lauer. NECAC received a $12,000 nutritional grant to fund meals for seniors in twelve counties. Eight Monroe county seniors receive one daily meal five days a week delivered at home by volunteers with help from local restaurants, schools, and churches.
