Missouri Military Academy Colonels face youth and size gap in season opener

MMA Colonels open the 1975-76 basketball season at Silex with only three returning lettermen and just three players taller than six feet. Head coach Maj. David Steinmetz notes speed must compensate for inexperience as nine new players join the roster. Captain Paul Gant, Phil Siebert, and J D Waters are expected to start, joined by fresh center Jeff Crain who may shift to forward. The squad features a mix of seniors and juniors with several players under six feet, posing a crowding challenge against larger opponents.
